The London Festival of Railway Modelling is London’s leading railway modelling event. Presented by the publishers of British Railway Modelling, supported by The London Model Railway Club and sponsored by Hornby, Bachmann Branchline and Graham Farish the Show is regarded as an essential event in the railway modelling calendar.
The London Model Railway Club have hand-picked over 40, high quality British, European and Continental layouts for visitors to enjoy including ‘Amberdale, Layout in a Shed’ a special OO gauge project layout built within the walls of a typical shed.
For visitors who would like to learn about the different aspects of layout construction or simply improve their modelling skills there will be a variety of FREE demonstrations in the BRM Theatre. The demonstrations by expert modellers and will look at different aspects of layout construction.
Over 100 exhibitors will be showcasing their product range, which includes models, tools, kits, parts and accessories as well as a number of specialist exhibitors selling hard to source items and products for specialist scales and gauges.
For younger visitors there will be interactive activities and competitions one of which will encourage them to interact with the layouts as well as a colouring competition with prizes to be won.
