The London Festival of Railway Modelling is London’s leading railway modelling event.  Presented by the publishers of British Railway Modelling Magazine, supported by The Model Railway Club and sponsored by Hornby, Bachmann Branchline and Graham Farish the Show is regarded as an essential event in the railway-modelling calendar.

The Model Railway Club have hand-picked 40 British, European and Continental layouts in a range of scale, gauges and eras. Each layout has been picked for its modelling excellence or unique features. Layouts on display include the  excellent 82G (O), Portchullin (P4) and Essex Belt Lines (HO)

Over 100 exhibitors including well known manufacturers will also be showcasing their product range, which includes models, tools, kits, parts and accessories as well as a number of specialist exhibitors selling hard to source items and products for specialist scales and gauges.

A brand new feature for the 2013 show is the British Railway Modelling Village where the magazine will come to life! Features will include an interactive stand, the RMweb project layout ‘Black Country Blues’, RMweb layouts area, modelling theatre and to celebrate BRM’s 20th anniversary, two iconic layouts will be making a special appearance.

Modelling tips and advice will also be available at the show in the demonstrations from expert modellers specially selected by The Model Railway Club. Local and national clubs, associations and societies will also be on hand to offer information and specialist tips and advice.

For younger visitors there will be interactive activities and competitions one of which will encourage them to interact with the layouts as well as a colouring competition with fantastic modelling prizes to be won. Children can also ‘have a go’ at driving a model train on one of the two children’s layouts.
