On Saturday 29th April, our learning team will be hosting drop-in orienteering activities in the Grove Park area of Alexandra Palace and Park as part of Haringey council’s Weekend of Play. We invite local families to use basic map reading skills to explore the Grove, and discover photos and facts about the most eclectic events and activities in the Park and Palace that amazed and wowed Victorian Londoners. Drop in to the Park Information Centre to pick up your map before orienteering to find hidden photographs – be sure to look up high in trees, behind signs and benches and nestled between flowers! Use the clues to complete our Victorian Day out activity to find out how the Park and Palace regularly attracted thousands of visitors
Times: 11:00 – 16:00
Meeting point: This is a drop in event, please meet at the Park Information Centre to collect your map (Dukes Avenue Entrance).
Please contact firstname.lastname@example.org with any questions, we look forward to seeing you for a day of discovery!
