The Cake Walk Revival comes to Ally Pally Palm Court and Phoenix Bar on Sunday the 27th Feb for the first of what is set to be a series of monthly excursions into a rich and decadent musical past.

With six piece band The Cafetieres playing 1920s and 30s classic Swing and Ragtime Jazz. Plus special guest Gramophone DJ Foxtrot Fanny of The Shellac Sisters spinning her old school 78s, guests are invited to dust off their ballgowns, top hats and tails and join them to bust out the swing at the Peoples Palace!

The event starts at 5.30pm and will continue until closing time. Guests are asked to pay what they can afford with a suggested donation of £5 to go into the Palm Court. Look out for them playing at the Alexandra Palace Farmers Market in the run-up to the event.

Sally Wood, event promoter says “Everyone involved is very excited at the prospect of generating a buzz at the palace for people who live locally so please show your support and don’t forget to dress up for the occasion”
