Kaleidoscope Festival

25 Jul 2020

A message from the Kaleidoscope team:

Due to the current climate it’s with a very heavy heart that we’ve taken the decision to postpone this year’s Kaleidoscope Festival.

A silver lining is that we have rescheduled Kaleidoscope for Saturday 24th July 2021. We’re delighted that Groove Armada will still be headlining and we are working with all our other artists and performers to ensure as many of them as possible can join us on this date too.

We’re so disappointed, but with the way things are we understandably have no other option. Our priority is always doing what’s right and hosting our festival would not be appropriate at this time. We put a lot of love and hard work into this year’s programme and were really looking forward to bringing you one of the best summer festival experiences going. This will no doubt be a blow to all of the Kaleidoscope Family, from those attending to the performers, contributors and volunteers, without whom the festival doesn’t happen. One thing we can promise is that Kaleidoscope 2021 will be well worth the wait!

We will be automatically transferring tickets over to 2021 and our ticket holders will receive an email with full details from their provider in due course. Please bear with us though, as I’m sure you can understand this is a busy time for everyone so you may not get this email for a few days.

We will of course honour any requests for refunds. We do hope that you choose to support us and still come along in 2021.

For small independent festivals this support is what keeps us going, enabling us to grow and deliver a local festival you are all proud of.

We’d have loved to have danced the day away with you this summer, but like the rest of the country we will be dancing double hard in the summer of 2021.

In the meantime please keep an eye out for when Alexandra Palace reopens as a packed schedule of live gigs, comedy, theatre and culture is being planned – hopefully see you all soon.
