Open House

23 Sep 2018

Alexandra Palace opened in May 1873 as a public centre of recreation, education and entertainment and has had many different uses throughout its 150-year history. Join us to find out lots of interesting facts about the Palace’s hidden areas and learn about the different uses the Palace has had over the years.
This year, we are reopening the besament areas but also providing a sneak peak view of the East Court as we are undergoing a capital project of regeneration.
Please note there is no wheelchair access for these tours.
Parts of the basement route are uneven and therefore sturdy, closed- toe footwear is required.
This event is suitable for ages 16+ only.
We strongly advise to use public transport where possible as there will be limited parking available on this day.
