    • Silent film evening

      An evening on the big screen showing Charlie Chaplin’s The Kid (1921) and Buster Keaton’s The Scarecrow (1920).

      Both films will be projected onto a big screen in the atmospheric surroundings of Alexandra Palace’s great hall, accompanied by the Palace’s Grand Willis Organ. This will be played by Donald MacKenzie, silent-film accompanist expert and resident organist at the Odeon Leicester Square. Get your ticket in advance and come along for a rare showing of this classic silent film. Just £10 per ticket/£7 concessions. Further info here: www.allypallyorgan.org.uk.

      Situated in North London with spectacular panoramic views of the City, Alexandra Palace is well served by public transport and is 'closer than you think'.

      Whilst we have a number of car parks and 1500 free parking spaces, we strongly advise that customers use public transport when visiting an event or exhibition.

      BY CAR

      Car park spaces are free and offered on a first come, first served basis. Please note that car parks get very full quickly during events and as such we recommend using public transport to avoid disappointment.

      DISABLED PARKING

      There are dedicated accessible bays in the Grove car park and the East car park in front of the Ice Rink.

      BY LONDON UNDERGROUND

      To plan your journey please visit the TFL website at www.tfl.gov.uk

      The nearest underground stations are Wood Green on the Piccadilly line and Finsbury Park on the Victoria line.

      The W3 bus runs from both of these tube stations and will take you to the Alexandra Palace Ice Rink stop or Palm Court entrance.

      The W3 runs every 5-8 minutes Monday to Friday, 6-10 minutes on Saturday and 9-12 minutes on Sundays.

      BY RAIL

      Alexandra Palace has its own British Rail Station (Alexandra Palace Station). A regular train service runs direct from Moorgate (weekdays only) or from Kings Cross, changing at Finsbury Park.

      Once at Alexandra Palace station you can take the W3 bus or walk (15-20 mins.) directly to the venue.

      BY BUS

      In addition to the W3 from Finsbury Park and Wood Green underground stations, if you are travelling from North London the 184 towards Turnpike Lane Station stops at Alexandra Palace Station.

      The 184 runs every 7-11 minutes Monday to Friday, 6-10 minutes on Saturday and 10-12 minutes on Sundays.

      GETTING HOME

      Please note that the last tube/train from Wood Green/Alexandra Palace Station leaves at around midnight. Please check specific train times on the day of your event ahead of arrival: www.tfl.gov.uk

    • Where do I buy tickets?

      You can purchase via our website or contacting See Tickets 0871 220 0260 or for Dinner and film tickets please call 01753 868 992. Under 16’s must be accompanied by and adult (over 21).

      Ticket collections

      You will receive a email confirmation from your ticket provider, please print and take with you to the event at The Palm Court Entrance.

      I have not received my e-confirmation or tickets, what should I do?

      Please contact the ticket provider (See tickets) or outlet that you made your purchase through as they will need to send you a confirmation. Ally Pally doesn’t sell ticket therefore we can not check your purchase or find your records if you turn up. To gain entry to the event you need an e-confirmation or ticket.
