Casual Crew support with the set up and de-rig of all events across Alexandra Park and Palace. Ideal candidates will have experience working as part of team, the ability to carry out manual handling tasks and work well under pressure. Work will be offered on an ‘as and when needed’ basis.

Event Duty Managers

Working in a front of house operational role, the Event Duty Managers are responsible for overseeing and managing the delivery of events in the newly refurbished Victorian Theatre. You will be the key decision maker when on duty and responsible for ensuring a smooth customer experience. The post holder will also liaise with security, traffic management and the visitor service team to uphold the venue’s standard operating procedures. An interest in and knowledge of Theatre operations is essential along with experience managing front of house areas preferably within an events business or licensed premises.

This role does not require any planning or programming and work is offered on an as and when needed basis according to Alexandra Palace’s event calendar.

Community outreach volunteers – Sensory suitcase project

We are looking for a team of enthusiastic volunteers to assist us with the delivery of our outreach dementia friendly Sensory Suitcase project.

Sessions are delivered by pairs of volunteers and their feedback is invaluable to tracking the impact of the suitcase on the wellbeing of residents, carers and the care home as a whole. Reflection and evaluation are important aspects of the role, as well as a caring and creating approach.
