The Park

Park Repair Work: Monday 20th Feb – Friday 9th March we will be undertaking repairs to essential services in the Park. The work on the South Front will cover an area 30m x 1m and will be protected by fencing, if you have any concerns or questions about the work please contact us on 020 8365 2121.

Managed by the Alexandra Park and Palace Charitable Trust, the 196 acres (80 hectares) of parkland surrounding the Palace are open all year round. Alexandra Park has held a Green Flag Award since 2008. The Green Flag Award is the national standard for parks and green spaces in England and Wales. Ice Rink

The peoples ice rink is open daily for public skating. visit page

Rose Garden

The Rose garden was originally constructed by internees during the First World War and remains an important vestige from that period. The garden is well used and remains attractive, particularly the high quality ornamental planting.

Deer Enclosure

The animal enclosures are home to our herd of Fallow Deer. The herd graze and browse the vegetation in the enclosures this is supplemented with feed pellets and fresh vegetables daily. visit page

The children's playground is open all year round.

Lakeside Café

The lakeside café is a great place to grab a quick bite to eat, and enjoy the lake. visit page

Park Map

The site offers a diverse mix of landscapes including woodlands, formal gardens, playing fields, meadows and conservation areas. The park is one of the most important ecological sites in the borough of Haringey. Birds, bats, foxes and invertebrates have all made their home in the trees, plants and wild flora.

The Park Information Centre is open on weekends and is operated by Friends of the Park. The Centre offers free information about the park and what you can and cannot do within the grounds.
