Learn to play the exhilarating sport of ice hockey with courses hosted by the Haringey Hounds Junior Ice Hockey Club. Drop in lessons take place during term time on Fridays 16.45 – 17.30 with additional skating classes on Monday evenings and Sunday mornings.
The course provides students aged 5-15 years with an introduction to the sport. Ice hockey is potentially dangerous and fast paced so requires some prior skating experience. Under 9s should have Skate UK level 3 or above, and Over 9s should have Skate UK level 5 experience and above.
Skaters are required to have their own hockey skates to attend. Skating kits including everything else needed to join in can be purchased for £10 per course with a £50 deposit. Please enquire at reception.
If you’re a competent skater and would like to join a local ice hockey team, we have a number of clubs who train and play at Ally Pally. Book direct with the clubs below.
Alexandra Palace is a charity, run for the benefit of everyone. Our Park, Palace and spectacular events have been enriching lives since 1863, but the coronavirus pandemic has hit us hard. To be blunt, we are looking at a £1m shortfall this year and the same again next year. We know this time has been hard on many people but, if you can afford it, your support will help us get through this crisis.
