Alexandra Palace opened on Queen Victoria's 54th birthday with a grand celebration including concerts, recitals and fireworks. Tragedy struck 16 days later when a fire broke out in the Palace

Explore our award winning parkland with our family friendly navigational challenge, use basic map reading skills to find markers and complete the explorer challenge. Collect plants and twigs to help us make a giant collage of the Palace for display in the East Court and make your own Palace inspired picture to take home. Complete your morning with a 1 hour ice skate on our international sized ice skating rink.
