THE EAST COURT
If you love Ally Pally, the East Court is always here for you. It was transformed as part of the East Wing Restoration Project, from an underwhelming entrance foyer for the ice rink into a vibrant and welcoming multi-functional space, that is open for everyone to visit.
Here in the East Court you can soak up Ally Pally’s long and varied past, chronicled in a dynamic installation, which details the venue’s time as the home of television, the role it played in the two World Wars and our amazing musical heritage.
The East Court has quickly become the heart of our Creative Learning programme, so bring your little ones along to join in the fun, or simply come and sit, relax and marvel at the Court’s grand Victorian scale, with its enormous glass-domed ceilings, super-sized columns and colourful contemporary artwork.
We’ve got lots of plans for how we’re going to build on the success of the restoration project in the East Court in the coming years, so that it becomes a go-to place for creativity, learning, relaxation and entertainment for North London and beyond.
