BP Big Screens ‘Turandot’ from The Royal Opera House
BP Big Screens 2017 is bringing a live screening of The Royal Opera House’s staging of Puccini’s final masterpiece, ‘Turandot’. For the first time here at the Palace, the summer screening will be broadcast live on the big screen set against our spectacular view of London’s skyline. Go beyond the famous aria ‘Nessun dorma’and be transported to legendary China in all its pageantry and savagery, with disguised identities, puzzles and ritual executions. Princess Turandot subjects her suitors to cryptic riddles only to execute them when they fail to answer correctly. Will our hero Calaf solve the riddles and win the Princess? Come and find out at our BP Summer Big Screen.
Please note pre-screening begins at 7pm, with the show starting at 7.30pm. All live screenings are classified 12A by the BBFC. Any child under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult over the age of 21.
