Client – Hive via Sketch Agency
Location – South Terrace

To celebrate the solar eclipse, Hive invited guests to our South Terrace for a very special viewing party. Bringing together innovation, sustainability, and spectacle a striking, solar-powered recreation of Stonehenge, designed to celebrate the power of the sun was constructed opposite the Rose Window on 29 March 2025.
The large scale instalment, nick named Solar-Henge, nearly 5 meters tall and spanning over 20 meters wide was created to challenge the misconception that solar panels require direct sunlight in order to work effectively.

Visitors relaxed on Hive-branded deck chairs and picnic blankets, complete with Hive-branded eclipse viewing glasses to safely witness the astronomical phenomenon. To enhance the experience, guests enjoyed breakfast baps in charcoal buns from a branded food truck and a carefully curated music playlist all powered by Solar-Henge!

The activation showcased the strong core value both Hive and Ally Pally share: sustainability. The energy created by Solar-Henge, which powered the food truck and speakers, helped amplify Hive’s brand engagement and peaked onlookers interest in exploring more on solar power and how we can become more sustainable.
