Boating Lake
Swan Lake on your doorstep!
The Boating Lake in Alexandra Palace Park features a fantastic fleet of pedalos, perfect for a fun and relaxing time on the water. It’s a sensational experience and a great day out for everyone – whether you’re with family, friends, or on a casual date.
Each pedalo seats up to four people, and the Boathouse is located right next to the Boating Lake Café – currently closed for refurbishment and set to reopen in summer 2025. In the meantime, grab a bite from our pop-up food trucks or head over to the East Court Café to round off your visit.
Open daily from Saturday 3 May for summer!

- Session length: 30 minutes
- Boat capacity: maximum 4 people (1 adult 18+ required per boat)
- Prices (including booking fees):
- £8.50 standard (12 and over)
- £5.50 child (under 12)
- Age restriction: 2+ (under 2s not allowed in the boat)
- Opening times: Monday – Sunday, 10am–dusk
- Booking in person only at this time – just turn up and pay! (subject to availability)
