Unlock your creative potential and take the next step in your music career with this hands-on Artist Development Workshop.
Across a series of practical sessions, you’ll learn how to create your own music video, shape your artist brand, design promotional materials, and build the confidence to perform your work live. Guided by an industry professional with over 20 years’ experience, you’ll gain real-world skills, insider knowledge, and original content to launch your music properly.
Workshops will all take place in the Creativity Pavilion, Wednesdays 6.30pm – 8.30pm. There will be a week break between each module.

Music video creation
- How to shoot and edit a professional-looking music video using your phone
- Storyboarding, planning and creative direction
- Lighting, shot types and visual style

Artist branding & campaign launch
- How to build a strong, recognisable artist identity
- Designing a personal logo and brand visuals
- Creating your own promotional materials (e-flyers, social content, email copy)
- Planning a real release campaign for your music
- Designing a print-on-demand merch item (e.g., t-shirt)
Performance & showcase
- Vocal and stagecraft skills
- How to prepare and rehearse for live performance
- Confidence and presence on stage
- Final showcase event to perform your track or screen your music video
About the workshop leader
Led by Tom Bibby aka Lucid Mover, a highly experienced music industry professional, educator and co-director of Reggae Roast, this workshop is guided by someone who has spent over 20 years building careers, crafting content, and shaping the next generation of UK talent. Tom has worked closely with leading artists including Mr Williamz, Horseman, Ragga Twins and many more, producing music videos, release campaigns and live shows across the UK. As a former Curriculum Manager and Lead Tutor at SoundSkool Music College, he has supported hundreds of young artists from diverse backgrounds to develop their skills, grow their confidence and break into the industry. With deep experience across production, branding, marketing and performance, Tom brings real-world insight that empowers young creatives to take their work to the next level.
