Working in a heritage trade, being part of a maker community, can be extremely rewarding. As well as gaining transferrable, sought-after skills, you become part of traditions that have existed for thousands of years.

Festival goers are invited to get up close and personal to heritage crafts. First, there will be a chance to watch and learn about lead bossing, a traditional skilled technique of shaping sheet lead for roofing. In the second half of the afternoon, all ticket holders will be invited to have a go at decorative cornice repairs and moulding techniques.
