For 80 years it’s been hidden to the public but soon we’ll be opening the doors to our Victorian Theatre. The restoration process has been a massive undertaking but this beautiful space is worth all the hard work and the wait.
The Restoration Project, which includes the theatre, will trans form the East Wing of Alexandra Palace. Currently around 40% of this iconic building is derelict and this work is vital in ensuring the Palace and Park can be enjoyed for many more generations to come. You can support the restoration by donating and naming a seat here.
Viewers of the Dafabet Masters snooker coverage on the BBC were treated to a tour of the space which you can watch below. Join Emma Dagnes, Deputy Chief Executive of Ally Pally, and snooker legend John Parrott as they explore this truly unique space.
Alexandra Palace is a charity, run for the benefit of everyone. Our Park, Palace and spectacular events have been enriching lives since 1863, but the coronavirus pandemic has hit us hard. To be blunt, we are looking at a £1m shortfall this year and the same again next year. We know this time has been hard on many people but, if you can afford it, your support will help us get through this crisis.
