The Alexandra Palace Fireworks Festival is normally a highlight of our year, and an event that brings people together like no other.
Unfortunately, the current restrictions make it impossible to host large crowds on site at the moment. We know this is a great disappointment to many of you. It’s a great disappointment to our team too. Our Fireworks Festival is not just a huge amount of fun, but it is emblematic of the progress we have made over the past 10 years. Fireworks are part of this venue’s history going right back to the earliest days, and a tradition we were delighted to bring back in 2013.
The income we bring in from events is also a crucial part of the charity’s funding model, helping us to look after the Palace and Park all year round. Without being able to hold events like the Fireworks Festival, we lose out on vital income, which makes our future uncertain.
If you usually come to the Fireworks Festival, please make a donation to help us care for Alexandra Palace this year. We need your support more than ever.
Alexandra Palace is run by a charity for the benefit of everyone. It’s loved by many people: as a historic landmark, ice rink, legendary gig venue, exhibition centre, theatre, park with panoramic views and more. As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic our income has fallen catastrophically and our survival is at risk. Your support can help: as a charity, every £1 we receive is reinvested back into the organisation and will help us get back on our feet.
