Alexandra Park will be playing host to the brilliant Fat Freddy’s Drop on Friday 22 July, before Kaleidoscope Festival, headlined by Orbital and Happy Mondays, takes place on Saturday 23 July.

We hope you can join us for these amazing live experiences. The weekend of events will require a number of temporary changes to the roads, Park and car parking set-up at the Palace. All the information is below.

EVENT INFORMATION

Date: 22 July Fat Freddy’s Drop, 23 July Kaleidoscope Festival

Build and Breakdown: 6am Thursday 21 July – 2pm on Sunday 24 July.

PARK ACCESS

The events will take place on the South Slopes of the Park, immediately below the Palace. This space is marked in blue on the map below. This space will be closed from 7am on Tuesday 12 July until Sunday 24 July (to allow for events to take place on the 16 July, 22 July & 23 July).

The upper south slope of the Park, Alexandra Palace Way, the south terrace and beach area outside the Phoenix Bar & Kitchen – marked in red on the map – will be closed for the events from 6am Thursday 21 July until 2pm on Sunday 24 July.

To walk from the Palace to lower field, please us the pathway adjacent to the golf club. The remainder of the Park will be opened throughout.

ROAD CLOSURE

Alexandra Palace Way will be closed to all traffic from 6.30am Thursday 21 July – 2pm on Sunday 24 July.

BUS DIVERSION

The W3 will be diverted from 6.30am Thursday 21 July  – 2pm on Sunday 24 July. The Bus will travel along High Road Wood Green and turn right along Turnpike Lane. Please note: while on diversion, the W3 avoids Priory Road between Alexandra Palace Way and Middle Lane. There are no planned changes to the 184 route.

CAR PARKING

Car parks at Alexandra Palace will be closed from 8pm Wednesday 20 July until 2pm on Sunday 24 July. There is NO event parking on site at Alexandra Palace so all event attendees will need to use public transport to travel to/from the event. Parking on Bedford Road will be significantly reduced so we advise you avoid this during event days where possible.

SOUND
