The legendary Firework Festival returns to Alexandra Park on Saturday 1 November. Set against a sparkling panoramic view of London which is second to none.
While the display starts at 7.30pm, the Park will be packed full of activities and entertainment to enjoy until the first firework is launched into the sky. There will be a large street food and craft beer village with great food cooked before your eyes, and a selection of fine beers, many from local brewers. The family zone is jammed packed with a fun fair, face painting and family entertainment throughout the day.
For the adventurous adrenalin junkies amongst you, the adult funfair won’t disappoint with some real white-knuckle experiences.
The UK’s largest German Bier Festival will be open from 3pm until 11pm and will see the Palace’s Great Hall transformed into a mini Oktoberfest. With a range of authentic German Biers supplied direct to your table by our army of Bavarian Fräuleins it won’t be long until you’re up on your feet and joining the Oompah band in the compulsory recital of Ein Prost.
Inside the festival village in the West Hall you will find a smorgasbord of food including German sausages and pretzels, and a large area serving craft beers for those who want something a little more local.
To add an extra-special twist to the event, on the same stage for the first time ever we bring to you Blur vs Oasis….well OK it’s actually two great tribute bands Blurb and Noasis – whose team are you on?! Additional tickets are required to the Festival starting at just £8 and give you exclusive access to the viewing platform to witness the fireworks display.
Tickets to this event will also give you direct access to the South Terrace offering phenomenal views of the fireworks. With more of the venue open in 2014 we have doubled our bars and the food available guaranteeing an amazing night for all.
As normal, Lederhosen not compulsory but encouraged…
Tickets will not be available on the day.
The Street Food explosion continues with an expanded area this year to accommodate the huge demand. Expect a huge selection of the finest street food traders London has to offer. Seek out your personal favourite and then wash it down with one of the many craft beers or even a lovely warm mulled wine.
A dedicated area for families, including a childrens’ funfair with helter skelter, dodgems, sideshows and many more favourite rides, plus entertainers, free face painting and child-friendly food portions.
Mum and Dad aren’t left out as we will have food stands and bars with a selection of food, drink and mulled wine.
