    • Rhythm Stick Presents: An Old Skool Rave Revolution

Rhythm Stick, a club night created for and by people with disabilities, launches at Alexandra Palace on July 27th with a giddy evening of banging old-skool rave tunes.

As the sub-woofing bases blow the last remaining cobwebs from Alexandra Palace’s newly refurbished theatre, the disabled community have come to stake their claim on this lovingly restored historic building.

Riled up against the barriers that restrict life choices for the disabled community, a group of like-minded disabled people have drawn upon their skills and experiences to create Rhythm Stick club night – a safe space for the disabled community to socialise against the backdrop of banging old-skool rave anthems. The club night harks back to the moral outrage caused by raves in the 1990s, and conjures, once again, the spirit of revolution.

So dust off your glow sticks, and immerse yourself in a succession of pulsating repetitive old-skool beats!
