The renowned Argentinian multi-instrumentalist, singer, composer, and music producer, Gustavo Santaolalla is coming to Alexandra Palace Theatre in commemoration of the 25th anniversary of his signature album “RONROCO”.

Having won two Academy Awards for Best Original Score for his work on Brokeback Mountain and Babel respectively, Santaolalla has showcased his unique talent for crafting compositions that stir deep emotions and resonate with audiences. With two Grammys, 19 Latin Grammys, two BAFTAs, and a Golden Globe to his name, his artistic journey stands as a testament to his unparalleled influence and talent.

The album “RONROCO”, which marked a pivotal moment in his career, celebrates its 25th anniversary. This project, aside from introducing the Bolivian instrument ‘Ronroco’ to the world, showcased Santaolalla’s magnificent musicality through collaborations with eminent international film directors.

From its feature in The Insider (1999, Michael Mann) to his collaborations with Alejandro González Iñárritu in Babel and Walter Salles in The Motorcycle Diaries (2004), “RONROCO” has played a crucial role in cinematic storytelling.

Santaolalla presents “RONROCO” live for the first time, alongside a selection of other iconic compositions by Santaolalla. In addition to his cinematic works, the audience will relish memorable pieces like that from the video game and television series The Last Of Us.
