We love that so many of our community are frequent visitors to the Park and Palace, and enjoy our year-round offers of award-winning green space, culture, heritage, leisure and learning. We also want to ensure that our operations and activities are sensitive to the needs of our local area.

In addition to all the entertainment and attractions detailed across the rest of our website, we will use the page to bring you information about any temporary closures, security updates, how we manage the Park, our community activities and much more.

Closures

Our next planned closure is for our Fireworks and Drone Festival, which takes place on 7 and 8 November 2026. Full information about changes to the Park, Palace, the road and transport routes will be published here shortly.

Our quarterly Statutory Advisory Committee (SAC) and Consultative Committee (CC) meetings provide you the opportunity to raise issues and ask questions about operations at the Park and Palace. Next meeting is 6pm Thursday 17 September.

ACTIVITIES

Discover our attractions, food and drinks offers, events and Creative Learning programme. The Palace also hosts over a dozen community groups – such as EFG Boxing, U3A and the Alzheimer’s Society – who provide regular activities for local people.
