We love that so many of our community are frequent visitors to the Park and Palace, and enjoy our year-round offers of award-winning green space, culture, heritage, leisure and learning. We also want to ensure that our operations and activities are sensitive to the needs of our local area.

In addition to all the entertainment and attractions detailed across the rest of our website, we will use the page to bring you information about any temporary closures, security updates, how we manage the Park, our community activities and much more.

Our quarterly Statutory Advisory Committee (SAC) and Consultative Committee (CC) meetings provide the opportunity to hear updates and ask questions about operations at the Park and Palace. Next meeting is 7pm Monday 30 November.

ACTIVITIES

Discover our attractions, food and drinks offers, events and Creative Learning programme. The Palace also hosts over a dozen community groups – such as EFG Boxing, U3A and the Alzheimer’s Society – who provide regular activities for local people. Panorama Room

Design work on the new Panorama Room continues – our team are working on a Planning and Listed Building Consent application which will be submitted shortly. The project will include works in the historic basements, including repairs and strengthening, and replacement of the existing Panorama Room with a new, modern structure. We will be holding an exhibition to showcase the project, with the chance to speak to our team, in our indoor beer garden on the following dates/ times:
