Jeffrey Boakye is an acclaimed writer, broadcaster and educator, known for his insightful work on race, masculinity and culture. He is the author of Hold Tight, Black, Listed: Black British Culture Explored, and I Heard What You Said, and co-hosts BBC Radio 4’s award-winning music programme Add to Playlist.

In this dynamic and interactive live event for schools, Key Stage 3 and up, Jeffrey explores the cultural, political and societal impact of major music genres and iconic musicians, from Bob Marley and Aretha Franklin to Elton John, Lil Nas X, and many more.
