Transmission
They’re wealthy people. They own properties. Clean properties they don’t want infested. By dirty. Stinking. Rats.
The Transmitter Hall at Alexandra Palace becomes home to an unexpected gathering. There’s an uprising on the horizon, but who’s been ordering fast food through every app there is on a smartphone? And who are the pest exterminators really there for?
As London rents continue to soar Transmission shines a light on numerous issues young people are facing today but still manages a sprinkling of humour and an overarching message of hope.
Transmission is written and directed by the award winning writer Martin Murphy whose recent credits include The Ghost of White Hart Lane & Jonny Feathers The Rock & Roll Pigeon. This is a new play inspired by the ideas and passions of the Alexandra Palace Young Actors Company.
