A Grand Day Out & A Close Shave: Live World Premiere

The first show is a very special Wallace & Gromit double bill, beginning with A Grand Day Out — the original film that introduced audiences to Wallace & Gromit. Watch as the pair build a homemade rocket and blast off to the moon in search of cheese.

Then comes a genuine Wallace & Gromit first: the world premiere live performance of A Close Shave. For the first time ever, Julian Nott’s original score for the film will be performed live alongside the action on screen.

Wallace’s window-cleaning round takes an unexpected turn when he falls for wool-shop owner Wendolene, while a woolly houseguest and a sinister dog soon add to the chaos.

The Wrong Trousers Live

Later in the afternoon, the band returns for a separate performance of The Wrong Trousers.

The show begins with a 25-minute mini concert with the band at its brilliant best, packed with virtuosic soloists and foot-tapping tunes, before Wallace & Gromit take to the big screen.

In Nick Park’s Academy Award-winning classic, Wallace’s latest invention — a pair of Techno Trousers — causes trouble when mysterious lodger Feathers McGraw arrives at 62 West Wallaby Street. What follows is a daring diamond robbery and the famous model-railway chase.
