Skating in the Spotlight:
This new performance class guides young skaters (10 years and under) in how to move and perform to music. Ideal for those wanting to take part in our annual Christmas pantomime, watch out for the guest coaches including the principle skaters from our own ice shows, former Disney on Ice cast members, West End stars and world class competitors.
Ice skating is a fantastic way to keep fit. Our brand new Icerobics classes for adults will be a full body work out, targeting your quads, glutes, arms and shoulders to music! Put your skating moves into action with a great form of cardio, perfect for all skaters working at Skate UK Level 5 and above.
This class is available to three year olds and over (our smallest size skate is a seven). Our great, experienced and enthusiastic ice team make skating easy and safety and fun is top priority. The session is in a cordoned-off area on the ice rink which encourages the young skater to gain confidence with an accompanying adult and our ice skating instructors. This is an ideal taster for toddlers, with no levels or assessments, just a good introduction to the basics of the sport. These classes run during term time only.
Adult Coffee Morning:
The class includes group tuition with our ice skating instructors, practise time on the 11.00-13.30 public session and a cup of coffee. These classes run during term time only and is perfect for beginners and improvers.
We are currently taking bookings for the Holiday Fast Track course. Book now as places are limited. Bookings for the week term time courses will be taken in advance so book early to avoid disappointment.
“I started skating with coach John Hamer at the beginning of February with no concept of skating whatsoever: think Bambi On ice. After only half an hour, I was moving freely around the rink under my own steam. Eight months on, I’m now skating at speed with confidence, while switftly working through the various skating elements, adding to my ever-expanding skill set – and I’m throughly enjoying it. John’s easy-going nature combined with his unique, structured teaching method makes for the perfect coach. In short, he’s nothing short of a miracle worker who I’d recommend to any skater of any ability.” Kris Green, 24, North London.
Courses are non refundable or transferable. All courses are subject to availability and change.
