Our hugely popular Terrace, London’s largest beer garden, will be back and raring to go on Monday April 12th!
This unique space offers unbeatable, panoramic views across London, can welcome 400 people at any one time and was proclaimed “The best thing to happen in 2020” by Time Out. And what’s more, this year we’re scrapping the entrance fee which means grabbing a table at The Terrace will be entirely free!
Some of London’s hottest street food vendors will be on rotation throughout the spring / summer and will feature new faces as well as some old favourites including Browski Burger and Last Night A Vegan Saved My Life (full list of traders and menus for spring coming soon).
There will of course be a large, well-stocked bar, so you can finally catch up with your nearest and dearest and enjoy your favourite tipple or two (think craft beers, prosecco, cocktails etc). Tables of up to six will be available to book for up to 3.5 hour sessions from 12.30pm seven days a week. Table service and a range of social distancing protocols are in place to ensure a safe and enjoyable visit.
With a refreshed set-up with table umbrellas and a pergola so that you can enjoy the area come rain or shine, The Terrace is the perfect spot for after work drinks, weekend meet-ups or to soak up the sun with a drink in hand. And let’s face it, it’s been a long time coming.
An exciting programme of entertainment is also being planned for the spring and summer. It includes music from major artists, alfresco comedy nights featuring some of the biggest names on the London scene, the best buskers from the capital and beyond providing soothing tunes, plus a host of sports screenings, including all the massive games from Euro 2021. There will also be StrEATlife, Ally Pally’s annual street food event, alongside pop-up and guest food offerings. Stay tuned for all the info, and plenty of surprises too. (If you go to book on a particular date and it’s not available, that’s because we’re planning to announce an event on that very day…)
We’ve been busy getting ready to welcome you back. The health and safety of our customers and team is really important so we’ve created an environment that is safe for social distancing and follows strict hygiene protocols. This includes enhanced cleaning, hand sanitiser units and table-service only for a maximum booking of six people. Plus we’ve developed the Ally Pally Food & Drink app so there’s no need for cash or contact with anyone from outside of your group.
Tables are available for 6 people up until the 17th May and 8 people after the 17th May. Babes in arms, children in pushchairs and individuals in wheelchairs do not count towards this total (as long as there are only two households in any party exceeding 6 people up until the 17th May).
You must remain seated when eating or drinking at The Terrace.
Your session time is for a maximum of 3.5 hours for any party size. Please note that we will hold your table for 15 minutes before offering it to our waiting list. When booking we ask for your card details to guarantee the reservation – a £5 per guest charge will be deducted only if you are a ‘no show’. If you would like to cancel the table then you can do so, free of charge, up to 24 hours ahead of your booking.
The Terrace is a large outdoor seating area with some tables undercover. These tables will be allocated on a first-come, first-served basis and cannot be guaranteed.
Street food traders will be on rotation throughout the week. Please check this page for weekly line-ups.
All food and drink at The Terrace are ordered through a mobile app so please ensure that a member of your party has a smartphone. No transactions will be taken other than through the app.
