Boating Lake

The Boating Lake overlooks the park and is open all year round to enjoy fishing, pedal boat rides, leisurely walks or a quick bite at the Lakeside café. Visit page

Little Dinosaurs

Palm Court

This splendid Victorian conservatory is the main entrance to many of our events: from concerts to exhibitions.

Bar & Kitchen

The onsite pub has the best views of London and set in the Victorian Palace. Open daily 11-11 with a traditional pub menu and extensive wine list. Visit page

Rose Garden

The Rose garden was originally constructed by internees during the First World War and remains an important vestige from that period. The garden is well used and remains attractive, particularly the high quality ornamental planting.

Whilst we have a number of car parks and 1500 free parking spaces, we strongly advise that customers use public transport when visiting an event or exhibition. Please note all car parks except disabled parking are closed during the Fireworks Festival.

Car park spaces are free and offered on a first come, first served basis. Please note that car parks get very full quickly during events and as such we recommend using public transport to avoid disappointment.

  • Major roads have signposts ‘to Alexandra Palace’
  • 1 mile from the North Circular Road (A406)
  • 5 miles from the M1 (Junction 2)
  • 8 miles from the M25 (Junction 25)

The nearest underground stations are Wood Green on the Piccadilly line and Finsbury Park on the Victoria line.

Please note the last west bound trains to central London from Wood Green station:

- Monday to Thursday: 00:09

- Friday to Saturday: Night tube runs all night

- Sunday: 23:15

The W3 bus runs from both of these tube stations and will take you to the Alexandra Palace Ice Rink stop or Palm Court entrance.

The W3 runs every 5-8 minutes Monday to Friday, 6-10 minutes on Saturday and 9-12 minutes on Sundays.

Alexandra Palace has its own British Rail Station (Alexandra Palace Station). A regular train service runs direct from Moorgate  or from Kings Cross, changing at Finsbury Park.

Once at Alexandra Palace station you can take the W3 bus or walk (15-20 mins.) directly to the venue.


In addition to the W3 from Finsbury Park and Wood Green underground stations, if you are travelling from North London the 184 towards Turnpike Lane Station stops at Alexandra Palace Station.

The 184 runs every 7-11 minutes Monday to Friday, 6-10 minutes on Saturday and 10-12 minutes on Sundays.
