Biblio-buzz Haringey Library half term events

This half term, our local libraries will be hosting a series of free events for you to enjoy as part of Biblio-buzz 2023 – the Alexandra Palace Children’s Book Award!

Ideal for young people, the schedule features:

Monday 13 February, 11am and 1pm, Wood Green Central Library:

The Emperor and the Nightingale
Join Grethe Mangala Jensen aka Sandal Sticks Theatre for a fun, interactive adaptation of the H C Andersen story The Emperor and the Nightingale. (The show references the subject of death but is dealt with in a manner suitable to young children). Suitable for age 3+

Friday 17 February, 11am in Stroud Green Library and 1pm in Hornsey Library

Mike Dodswork The King with Horse’s Ears

Mike’s memorable telling of the King With Horse’s Ears will both entertain, amuse, and inspire deep thought as it follows the journeys of all those involved in the keeping of a secret. Suitable for all ages and generations.
