Haringey Has Pride Community Play

19 Feb - 9 Apr 2019

Haringey has Pride: an exciting new project celebrating the active role the borough of Haringey has played fighting for LGBTQ+ and Human Rights.

Interested in theatre?

Take part in a brand-new play inspired by Haringey’s proud LGBTQ+ heritage. In partnership with Jackson’s Lane, a group of community members (18+ only) will devise a dynamic piece of theatre alongside theatre maker Kay Adshead for Mama Quilla.

Mixing incredible real-life accounts with the tale of one family’s journey through Haringey’s historic fight for LGBTQ+ rights, this unique play will be performed at the iconic Alexandra Palace.

Rehearsals will be weekly on Tuesday and Thursday, 5:30-8:30pm at Alexandra Palace (Alexandra Palace Way, N22 7AY), starting on Tuesday 19th February and there will be two performances on Tuesday 9th April.
