Haringey Shed’s 25th Anniversary – The Silver Hive

Alexandra Palace Theatre

After 25 years working with children and young people in Tottenham, Haringey Shed are taking over Alexandra Palace Theatre for a one-off, silver anniversary performance of The Silver Hive.

The show follows a group of young people fighting to save their beloved Community Centre – the beating heart of a local neighbourhood that faces closure under the mayor’s new development plan. Told with humour, rhythm, and heart, the production celebrates local pride, collective creativity, and the power of unity through music, dance, and storytelling.

The Silver Hive is an original production, co-written by Haringey Shed’s Writers’ Room and Creative Director Shereen Jasmin Phillips, featuring original music by David Tims and Terry Tetteh-Martey.

The Silver Hive will be a relaxed performance with a BSL interpreter, gentle lighting, and a welcoming, accessible atmosphere for all.

Suitable for all ages.
