icandance presents 'Together'

25 Jun 2022

North London disability dance charity icandance return to Alexandra Palace Theatre to stage their annual celebratory performance.

Believing in the power of dance and its ability to support well-being and connect communities, icandance’s mission is to nurture creativity, learning and wellbeing by empowering disabled young people through dance and performance. icandance offers weekly group dance sessions for children and young people aged 4 to 25 years with varying disabilities, reaching approximately 160 disabled children and their families every week. ‘Together’ celebrates the years being apart due to the pandemic and the creative jubilation of returning to dance and perform together.

This is an inclusive and relaxed dance performance accessible for all.

TRAVEL DISRUPTION: This weekend’s industrial action could impact your journey to Alexandra Palace on Saturday 25 June. We recommend that you plan ahead, find confirmed routes and always ensure you have your return journey planned as well.

Please note that trains from Alexandra Palace train station will not be running after 6pm and no rail replacement buses will be operation. The best ways to and from the venue currently are:

  • Wood Green tube station, which is on the Piccadilly Line. Piccadilly line services are currently planned to run as normal, but please do check ahead of your journey. Shuttle buses and the W3 bus will be running from outside the station up to the Palace.
  • The W3 bus route, operating from Finsbury Park, stops directly outside the Palm Court entrance to the Palace. Buses and routes are likely to be busier than normal.
  • Car – we have parking available in our East Court car park. We anticipate it will be very busy so please arrive in plenty of time to secure your place. If you are planning to return home via taxi we advise booking your taxi in advance.

If you have accessible travel requirements that aren’t covered by the above, please contact our team via access@alexandrapalace.com
