Dan Smith, Grammy-nominated, BRIT Award-winning songwriter, composer and frontman of Bastille, joins long-time collaborator Ralph Pelleymounter, songwriter and frontman of To Kill A King, for Misfits Together, a new album project inspired by the lives and relationship of Marilyn Monroe and Arthur Miller. Unbound by genre, Smith and Pelleymounter will be joined on stage by long-time collaborator and featured vocalist Moira Mack.

Set against the turbulence of 1950s America, including McCarthyism, Hollywood misogyny, celebrity culture, political persecution and the battle for artistic freedom, Misfits Together channels one of the 20th century’s most famous relationships to explore themes that remain relevant today.

Produced by multi-instrumentalist Will Bloomfield, Misfits Together was recorded during the summer of 2025 at Bloomfield’s Dairy Studios in Brixton, with additional sessions in Suffolk and at London’s iconic Abbey Road Studios.
