An Evening of Comedy in Aid of St James’ Pre-School and Muswell Hill Soup Kitchen.
For one night only, join some of the UK’s greatest comedy stars for a hilarious evening to raise vital funds for St James’ Pre-School and Muswell Hill Soup Kitchen. Hosted by Glenn Moore (Mock the Week) with a line up including Russell Howard (star of The Russell Howard Hour and Russell Howard’s Good News), Nish Kumar (Mock the Week, Live at the Apollo), Ed Gamble (Mock the Week, Live at the Apollo), multi-award winning musical comedy duo Flo & Joan, and the hottest rising stars Gabriel Ebulue, Josh Weller, Rob Auton, Vix Leyton and Muswell Hill’s own Mark Maier.
St James’ Pre-School has been part of the Muswell Hill Community for more than 50 years. It is a wonderfully nurturing environment for the children with a very low staff turnover which is highly supportive of other charities in the area (local food banks, soup kitchen and also gives free hours to children from disadvantaged families.) The pre-school relies entirely on voluntary contributions and donations to keep running and due to COVID restrictions they have been unable to host any of their usual fundraising activities (bake sales, coffee mornings, Spring Fair), so this night is to help them to raise some much-needed funds to pay for a new kitchen at the pre-school. A portion of the proceeds will also be donated to Muswell Hill Soup Kitchen www.mhbc.org/soup-kitchen
This show will contain strong language and adult themes and is NOT suitable for children. Recommended 16+
