Join our staff – led talks and to hear about the behind the scenes of one of our most important projects, the regeneration of our Victorian Theatre and East Court. Talks are 20 minutes long and will be complemented by a sneak- peak view of the East Court. Please note that you may be asked to wait about 15 minutes before going on the tour if the talks are fully booked.
Please note that the route may have uneven floors and may not be suitable to people with mobility impairment.Sturdy, closed- toe shoes are required.
Tours are open to visitors aged 16+ only.
We strongly advise to use public transport where possible as there will be limited parking available on this day.
11am- 11.45am: ‘Reaching new heights: the revival of the theatre’ staff led talk + 20 min visit
12noon- 12.45pm: ‘The East Court: past, present and future’ staff- led talk + 20 min visit
1pm- 1.45pm: ‘Reclaiming the People’s Palace’ staff- led talk+ 20 min visit
