Rainbow Nation Charity Gala 2024: Survivors!

13 Apr 2024

Alexandra Palace Theatre

A fun, exciting, uplifting and thought-provoking variety show in our Victorian Theatre, starring Rainbow Nation Dance Academy (RNDA) members.

This performance gives RNDA members an opportunity to not just show off all of their hard work, but to express themselves creatively and be free. It’s both a celebration of their work and who they are as people. They’ll be showcasing a Choir, Pole Dancers, Voguers, Ballet, Musical Theatre classes & much more. Expect to laugh, to cry, to sing and to dance. They will leave you feeling inspired and enlightened.

RNDA works with its sister company The Rainbow Nation Foundation CIC which helps support 8 LGBT+ charities as well as running it’s own programmes, all to create a healthier and better-connected community. A large portion of the proceeds will be given directly to the foundation.

From the RNDA:

Our title and theme this year is ‘Survivors’. This has many meanings to us, but we believe that most people in minority communities are survivors of some form. We live in a world with a lot of hate, stigma and ignorance, where people in our community are attacked for being themselves & just simply existing. We’re dismissed, bullied, hated, killed, have our rights taken away or limited. But we fight back, we go on and we get stronger, because we are survivors!
