Red Bull Soapbox Race
Fasten your seatbelts and unleash your imagination: the world-famous Red Bull Soapbox Race returns to Alexandra Palace in June 2026.
On Saturday 20 June 2026, Britain’s most fearless and creative teams will design, build and race their own homemade Soapbox carts down the iconic downhill course, powered by nothing but gravity and courage.
60 teams will be judged on creativity, speed and showmanship, tackling signature obstacles and unpredictable twists that promise chaos, comedy and unforgettable moments.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
Age restriction
Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 or over. All persons must have a valid ticket to attend the event (excluding children under 2 years old).
Tickets
Tickets can only be purchased online in advance of the event.
About the event
The event is outdoor, all-standing & located on a hill.
Transport
Spectators are encouraged to use public transport to get to the event. There will be a road closure in place, with a diversion for the W3 & W7 buses, and there is no parking on-site except for holders of an accessibility ticket for the event.
