Alexandra Palace is delighted to be participating in the Big Draw Festival on Monday 24th and Tuesday 25th October. The Big draw is an annual event celebrating drawing for anyone who loves to draw, as well as those who think they can’t!
This year’s theme The STEAM, recalling the UK’s our Industrial past and the fusion of creative innovation, enterprise and the arts. Families will discover the activities & events that brought thousands of Victorian Londoners to the Palace, why the opening of a station in 1873 was so important before considering how visitors of the future will arrive!
Travel back in time in our drawing activities to discover how the Palace was originally used and help us plan for the future by imagining activities for 2050 and create a giant timeline showcasing 150 years of history.
