The London Festival of Railway Modelling returns to Alexandra Palace in March 2026 to celebrate 25 years at the venue. Presented in association with The Model Railway Club, the world’s oldest model railway society, this is one of the UK’s largest and most respected model railway exhibitions.

Explore 40+ model railway layouts in a variety of scales and gauges, showcasing outstanding work from the UK, Europe, and the US. From classic steam railways to modern scenes, the exhibition offers inspiration for beginners and experienced modellers alike.

Held across two grand halls, the show features 70+ specialist retailers and manufacturers, plus live demonstrations and expert advice from clubs and societies. With engaging displays for children and in-depth inspiration for enthusiasts, it’s the perfect family-friendly model railway show in London.

TRAVEL UPDATE:

If you’re coming to the London Festival of Railway Modelling , please allow a little extra time for your journey.

The Piccadilly Line will not be running between Cockfosters and Uxbridge. The Victoria Line is operating as usual, and Alexandra Palace railway station is located nearby.
If you’re travelling by bus, the W3 runs through Alexandra Park.
