The California-bred band, comprised of vocalist Jesse Rutherford, guitarists Jeremy Freedman and Zach Abels, bassist Mikey Margott and drummer Brandon Alexander Fried, exploded into mainstream consciousness with their breakout hit ‘Sweater Weather’ in 2012. Since the release of their 2014 mixtape #000000 & #ffffff the band members’ eclectic music tastes have led them to create a music that bridges the worlds of pop, rock, hip-hop and more.
‘Hard to Imagine The Neighbourhood Ever Changing’, the band’s latest work, features collaborations with renowned hip-hop artists Ghostface Killah, Denzel Curry, IDK and the late music icon, Nipsey Hussle. Presented as individually released EPs and an LP that together form a four-part, stream-friendly playlist, the album is a documentation of the full evolution of the band.

Alexandra Palace is run by a charity for the benefit of everyone. It’s loved by many people: as a historic landmark, ice rink, legendary gig venue, exhibition centre, theatre, park with panoramic views and more. As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic our income has fallen catastrophically and our survival is at risk. Your support can help: as a charity, every £1 we receive is reinvested back into the organisation and will help us get back on our feet.
