Norman Jay’s Good Times at Ally Pally this August

This August Bank Holiday, Norman Jay MBE returns to Alexandra Palace with his iconic Good Times Soundsystem, back for a fourth consecutive year on the South Terrace.

On Sunday 30 August 2026 (2pm–8pm), one of London’s most anticipated Bank Holiday parties lands once again at Ally Pally, as the unmistakable Good Times red Routemaster bus pulls up for an open-air celebration with panoramic views across the capital. A defining symbol of London’s musical identity, Norman Jay’s Good Times is long regarded as a cornerstone of Notting Hill Carnival, shaping dancefloors and influencing generations for over four decades.

Expect a genre-spanning soundtrack curated by Norman and special guests, moving through house, rare groove, disco, jazz, hip hop and drum’n’ bass. Alongside the music, the South Terrace will be packed with pop-up bars and street food traders, perfect for soaking up the atmosphere as the sun sets over the city.
