The event will be located on the east side of the Park; public access will be restricted from 10:00 on Friday 5th July until 05:00 on Monday 8th July, to allow for the safe setup and breakdown of the event. An alternative walking route to Alexandra Palace Station will be in operation. Please refer to the map on the next page. All other areas of the Park and Palace will remain open to the public throughout.
Setup: Thursday 4th to Saturday 6th July.
Event: Open to the public at 10:00 (TBC) and close at 18:00 on Sunday 7th July.
Breakdown: Evening and overnight.
All park gates will remain open throughout the event period. Pedestrian access will be maintained for those walking between the Boating Lake / The Avenue and the South Terrace via the Ice Rink Entrance. Park users entering via Bedford Road will be diverted south around the event site along the Lower Road. At the start and end of the event on Sunday there will be heavy pedestrian traffic along this route.
Alexandra Palace Way, from Bedford Road entrance to Palm Court, will be closed to all traffic from 10:00 on Friday 5th July until 05:00 on Monday 8th July. The closure and parking restrictions on Bedford Road will be implemented from 20:00 on Saturday 6th July.
W3 bus will be diverted from 10:00 on Friday 5th July until 05:00 on Monday 8th July. The Bus will travel along High Road Wood Green and turn right along Turnpike Lane. Please note: while on diversion, the W3 avoids Priory Road between Alexandra Palace Way and Middle Lane. There are no planned changes to the 184 route.
Our car parks will be closed from Friday 5th – Sunday 7th July inclusive. All event attendees are encouraged to arrive via public transport. Parking on Bedford Road will also be significantly reduced.
Large TV screens and a PA system will be in place on 7th July. Noise levels will be monitored throughout the event; however, if you have any concerns on the day please call 020 8365 2121.
