Summer Series: Visitor Information 21 and 22 July

Alexandra Park will be playing host to Hozier on Friday 21 July and Ben Howard on Saturday 22 July.

We hope you can join us for these amazing live experiences. The weekend of events will require a number of temporary changes to the roads, park and car parking set-up at the Palace. All the information is below.

Please note that the rail strike planned for Saturday 22 July will impact services to Alexandra Palace rail station. You can check Great Northern Rail for updates. If you are attending the Ben Howard performance, please read our FAQs for more information. 

PARK 

The events will take place on the south slopes of the Park, immediately below the Palace. This space is marked in blue on our map. This space will be closed from Monday 10 July until Wednesday 26 July (to allow for events to take place on the 14, 15, 21, 22 July).

The upper south slope of the Park, Alexandra Palace Way, the south terrace and beach area outside the Phoenix Bar & Kitchen – marked in red on the map – will be closed for the events from 6am Thursday 20 July until 2pm on Sunday 23 July.

The remainder of the Park will be opened throughout.

ROAD CLOSURE

The section of Alexandra Palace Way directly in front of the Palace will be closed from 6am Thursday will be closed to all traffic from 6.30am Thursday 20 July  – 2pm on Sunday 23 July.

The section of Alexandra Palace Way from Bedford Road (Ally Pally train station) up to the East Court car park will be closed from 8pm Thursday 20 July – 2pm on Sunday 23 July.

BUS DIVERSION

The W3 will be diverted from 6am Thursday 20 July – 2pm on Sunday 23 July. The Bus will travel along High Road Wood Green and turn right along Turnpike Lane. Please note: while on diversion, the W3 avoids Priory Road between Alexandra Palace Way and Middle Lane. There are no planned changes to the 184 route.

CAR PARKING

Car parks at Alexandra Palace will be closed from 8pm Thursday 20 July – 2pm on Sunday 23 July. There is no public parking on site at Alexandra Palace so all event attendees will need to use public transport to travel to/from the event.

Limited parking is available for Access ticket/Blue Badge holders in our Grove car park (access via our Muswell Hill entrance only). If you have any queries contact our team via access@alexandrapalace.com

SOUND
