Art in the Park has been running in Alexandra Park for five years with Katy Fattuhi in partnership with the Friends of Alexandra Palace. We meet monthly on Thursday mornings, session length varies from 1-2hrs depending on season.
New for 2026: a membership model and extra sessions exploring creative processes to connect with nature. Anyone, of any level of experience or none at all, is very welcome to join us.

SESSIONS
SKETCHTIME MEETUPS
Ring-fence time to be in nature and sketch in the company of others.
A monthly meet-up in different areas of the park. Sketch/ paint what you choose. Support during the session and basic materials provided at your request.
(1hr in winter, 2hrs in summer)
Free trial available for first-timers at Sketchtime – discover how much pleasure you can get from picking up a pencil again and sitting in nature!
BEING CREATIVE SESSIONS
Find experimental strategies to help you develop your own approach to drawing nature.
Facilitated sessions to explore new materials and methods. Materials for directed activities provided.
