Planet Play – 10:00 Welcome to Planet Play, Chickenshed’s magical world of sensory learning, wonder and exploration, for babies and toddlers aged 0-3 years. These 45 minute sessions will encourage young children to develop and explore the world around them through song, music, movement and a truly sensory experience. Devised by Chickenshed’s hugely successful and creative Tales from the Shed team, Planet Play has been specifically developed to encourage play and early communication development in young children. Research has shown that singing songs and rhymes on a regular basis helps to widen your child’s vocabulary and listening skills which are an essential part of learning to read, write and communicate. Tales from the Shed – 11:30 Tales from the Shed is coming to Alexandra Palace on Wednesday 14 February! This interactive show for children aged 0-6 years is vibrant, exciting and perfect for young children. The informal, lively and engaging performance allow actors and children to share the same space together. Children are always encouraged to make a lot of noise and make the story happen. Every show is fun, really silly and has plenty of colourful puppets and live songs. Tales from the Shed has many different stories featuring much loved characters – from Can-Can the beautiful bird, laid back Lion Down and The Thing That Goes Blurgh! We encourage families to travel via public transport where possible. Visit out How to find us page on the best way to get the Palace

Alexandra Palace is a charity, run for the benefit of everyone. Our Park, Palace and spectacular events have been enriching lives since 1863, but the coronavirus pandemic has hit us hard. To be blunt, we are looking at a £1m shortfall this year and the same again next year. We know this time has been hard on many people but, if you can afford it, your support will help us get through this crisis.
