London Festival of Architecture 2026
Wood Green and Alexandra Palace return to the London Festival of Architecture for the third year running. 2026 marks a pivotal moment for the Council and the Charity, as they begin delivering their complementary visions over the next decade.
At a time of uncertainty and change, placemaking, arts and heritage play a vital role in creating opportunities, local pride and a shared sense of belonging for those who live, work and spend time in Wood Green and across the wider borough. Alexandra Palace is entering a new decade of transformation, placing people front and centre, strengthening the Charity’s role as a convener of popular culture, deepening connections with the community and growing support for a much-loved local amenity and cultural landmark.
In parallel, with London Borough of Culture 2027 on the horizon, this is a timely opportunity to build on the strength of civic and community spirit that has already played an intrinsic role in shaping Wood Green’s future.
Events at Alexandra Palace and in Wood Green include tours, workshops, podcasts, panel discussions and specially curated artistic performances. They are open to all and aim to showcase this unique part of the borough and how both Wood Green and the Palace are being reimagined to provide people access to arts, community, culture, youth space and much, much more.
